Cabs Version 5

Cabs Chamberlain is our primary event management systems tool which manages any bookable space, that could just as well be a car parking space, a mooring on a marina, staff lockers, you name it, if it is a bookable space then Cabs Chamberlain can manage it for you.

We have been working hard to improve the overall functionality and ‘inner workings’ of CABS and are very pleased to announce the arrival of version 5. The following is a list of highlights to be found in our new version...

• Subject to your business rules, Intranet access to the Diary and Booking Requests over the Web is fully supported. A complete reworking of the reports engine and how it interfaces to Crystal Reports. Reports can be shared or a user can have their own report set.
• The Daily and Weekly Diaries are now fully scaleable to suit how much information you want to see at any one time. Zoom in to view more than one day or back out to view just the next few hours.
• Adding Extras has been augmented by using a Tree (or Explorer like) view so that Service Centres and their Extras are all visible on the same form. It is also possible to save your own favorite extras which can be added quickly.
• Repeater Bookings has been re-written to follow a more wizard like approach making it easier to avoid conflicts and check room availability.
• Extras Monitor now includes a user ID and delivery time stamp, also acknowledged and completed services can be hidden.
• Sales Ledger functionality has been added. Date handling has been enhanced for our American and Australian clients.

New Cabs module

The Club Membership module has now been completed and includes handling for ticketed events.
