Standard Module Features
Our Visitor Registration Module allows visitors to be registered directly off the booking form if they are attending a meeting that has already been booked. This means that you only have to enter the Visitors’ names, company name and address, then press the Enter Key, and then enter another person. Registering visitors is designed to be quick and easy.
Visitor badge printing with default badging for different visitor software types to a wide variety of printers and printing media - paper labels through to plastic cards, either single / double sided mono (does not have to be black) or colour with mag stripe encoding as well. The final product is a direct result of the printer you choose to use. Each visitor registration type can have their own distinct badge format.
There are many optional features you can configure. For instance, you can get the system to:
Automatically email the Booker (and the Host) that their visitor(s) has/have arrived
Set a warning timer to ensure that the visitor is not kept waiting too long
Allocate them a seat location – useful for larger reception areas where you might not know where your colleague has placed the visitor.
Book a Car parking bay – these can be linked to any Visitor record, their availability checked and are treated just like any room on the system.
The main visitor registration arrival screen - Use this to process, monitor and analyse visitors on arrival, during their stay and on departure. When used with CABS-produced bar-coded badges, simply scan the badge to flag visitors as arrived, and again to mark them as departed.
A “surprise” visitor is simply added to the booking or entered via the Visitor Reception screen; simply enter the name and their host.

Reception If you are badging, you can then print the badge there and then.
Full visitor registration history is supported, if required - so just starting to type the surname will pull the right record up..
Internal attendees are registered quickly and easily - so you always know where everyone is.
All a staff member has to do to record their attendance is pass their badge past a scanner to log themselves in and, when they are leaving, repeat the process to log themselves out. Their name will appear on the “IN” list on the Visitor Reception Screen highlighted in a different colour to show they are staff and are in the building.
If the system does not recognise the badge, the receptionist staff(or whoever is responsible) simply enters their details and they are logged on the system - providing a simple and easy method to manage staff attendance records.
Security Management
If you are responsible for Visitor Reception in your building, or you need a system to control visitors In and Out of the building, then you need our Building Security option.
Once you have installed CABS CHAMBERLAIN on the Reception Desk, or wherever you need to control visitors from, all the other companies in the building can notify you of their visitors by simply sending an email to a special email address.
Those visitor names will then appear on your Visitor Reception screen as if they had been entered manually. You can also generate extra revenue by charging the other companies for this service.
